Our goal has always been to make Freshwater Bay Paddleboards the best boards possible, regardless of expense.
Quality starts with the right attitude, and we only work with manufacturers that share our attitude; the boards have to made right, every time!
What makes the boards so great?
The best hard boards start with a great shape. Once you have the right shape, you need the right materials. We’ve spent a lot of time testing and refining our construction process to get the best combination of of weight and strength.
Each of our Freshwater Bay Hard SUPs comprise our standard high density 20KG/M3 EPS foam core with wood laminate fibreglass sandwich construction – even on the painted boards where you can’t see the wood. Our hard SUPs also feature Carbon Fibre in the standing area, and Kevlar wrapped rails, nose and tail for extra protection.
And, with a GoPro mount as standard you can share those beautiful moments on the water.
Don’t take our word for it…
‘Taking an already well-liked performance sled (by me at least) and tweaking a small amount to improve upon this is no mean feat’
